Libcode Library Systems http://www.libcode.com.au/ is an Australian system that has been developed by teacher librarians. Very affordable and good support service.

E-Granthalaya is a library automation software from the National Informatics Centre, Govt. of India, which is free and supported by NIC centres through out India.
A good software for Indian libraries.

The AIMS system is widely used in Australian schools. It is a very easy to use, stable platform from Concord Australia in Brisbane, Queensland, . It is also very well supported, and can be seen at the IASL/SLAQ Conference 2010 in September in Brisbane

Hi Pooja,

Depends what you want - do you have $$? Then no probs the world is yours - SIRSI Dynix, TLC, Follett, etc.

If you have no dollars then you can go open source (but you do need an IT person to support you) Koha, Evergreen and if you are in India I would recommend NewGenLib (who have gr8 support team). eGranthalya I found very poor in terms of features and support.

Is EGRANTHALAYA really FREE..... The implementationcost of Egranthalaya is more than the cost of certain ready-to-use library management software available in market like Librarian, ALICE, Libbook etc....
