Connecting school librarians and school libraries

Hi everyone....I am a new member voluteer librarian with a primary/secondary school in Tonga. I am going to try automating the library (as far as possible) during my two years here and have come across a free library software application "newgenlib"....I wondered if anyone was familiar with this app?
