I've created and coordinates the WEB 2.0 service for Polish school librarians for ISLM (2008) and ISLD (2006-2007). Librarians find information they publish about everything you do in the library at the international school library feast.

Hello all,
I had to change my celebration plans last week. I've decided to read aloud scary ghost stories from different countries (Germany, Ireland, Mexico) to my students. It has been lots of fun. These junior-high students act like little kids when they hear fun stories read aloud to them. They love it because it's such a treat. I had fun, too! We then had raffle prizes and Halloween candy.
Hope all is going well with you too!
Regards,
Chris Gibson

My name is Neslihan Kılıç. I’m from Turkey, I’ve been working for 3 years as a librarian teacher in the same private school. We’ve just noticed that this year, for the first time will celebrated International School Library Month.
Next year, we would like to preparing some activities about this month. There are two librarian teacher in our library. We’re teaching reaching true information resources and learning research methods to our students. “Literacy and learning in our school” These subjects are very important for us. By the way, are we using media and multimedia resources correctly? How are we going to protect children from the harmful effects of media? We’re focusing on these when making presentations, teaching.
We would like to invite this group for sharing some information, some news.

Best regards,

Neslihan Kılıç

Hi everyone,
I've decided to host a luncheon right here in my school library media center for my new teachers. A lot of teachers left our school over the summer, so we have lots of new faces. Many are brand new teachers. They don't know anything about school library media centers. I want to raise their awareness of what services I can offer to my staff.
Will send you more info as I hatch my plan.
