Comment by Lou Ann Bramwell-Shakes on September 20, 2011 at 2:14am Hi again Lou Ann,
I was thinking about everyone able to get to the IASL conference in Jamaica this summer. I expect that you were there too?
Have you got any photos to share from the conference? You could try posting them. - go on - make us all jealous!

Comment by Lou Ann Bramwell-Shakes on September 20, 2011 at 1:18am Hi - just got a message that we have a new member of this group -
Welcome to Lou Ann Bramwell-Shakes.
Can you tell us a little about yourself - i.e. where abouts in the world are you based; name of school; your role there?
Look forward to hearing about you,
Ingrid

One week to go until the ECIS Librarians Conference in Istanbul. I soooo excited!
Look forward to seeing lots of IASL members at the IASL session.
Bye for now,
Ingrid
Dear International School Region members,
How are you all? what are you doing at the moment. I have been quite busy this last March - I was organiser at a PYP workshop here in Vienna for my old school, then I went off to German for a week to finish setting up a brand new library from scratch (just heard they had a fabulous and successful grand-opening today); following that I was in Geneva to receive some more training from the IB as a school visitor.
Soon it will be the Easter Break and following that - Yipee! - the ECIS Librarians conference in Istanbul. Who else will be there from this group?
Yes, yes - I know that you will have to be there John!
By the way are you all up to date with your IASL subscriptions for this year? I hope so - though I did get into a little minor panic just know wondering about my own subscription.
Although I will not be able to get to the IASL annual conference in Jamaica this year - I am planning for Qatar the following year.
Anyone of you in Jamaica this year?
Look forward to hearing from you all,
Ingrid
PS. Don't forget the ECIS Librarians Conference in Istanbul May 13-15th 2011.
Only 4 more days of the special 'early bird' conference special payments: Read all about it on:-

Hope to see you there! I have just booked myself in..... who else will be there?
Hi everyone,
Its December and lots of people are nearly on holiday for the Christmas or Winter break. Hope you have all had a chance to look at the photos from the IASL dinner in Brisbane that I posted a while ago.
I would like to wish everyone a lovely long rest and break from your school library and hope to hear from you during the holidays or after.
Here in Vienna, Austria we have minus 5 temperature and lots and lots of snow. We are really gearing ourselves for the Christmas and New Year Festivities.
"Frohes Fest" (Happy Festival) and "Frohe Weihnachten" (Happy Christmas) and
also "Guten Rutsch ins Neue Jahr 2011" ( have a good slide into the New Year!)
Best Wishes, Ingrid
