Greetings to all IASL members!



As we move on into the 3rd month of the year, we need to remind ourselves of the importance of volunteerism in IASL. The primary objective of IASL is to advocate for the development of school libraries in all countries. We do this thorough our conferences, publications, research, awards, etc. All these activities are carried out by members voluntarily who offer their time and energy for the benefit of the association. It is a pleasure to greet you as the new President of IASL.

Hi Karen,

I have only just managed to get this far on NING and uploaded some photos of International School Library Week last October 2008.
About IASL Conference in italy in Septemeber. I have already paid and reserved a hotel room. I wanted to offer to give a presentation on the three IB programmes and to offer to hold a 'job alike' for librarians in International Schools. I can't really find a conference category that these sessions would fit into. Please could you advise.

I am from Nepal .I very happy to know about you and want to share the ideas and skill in the coming days. As I have some friends and relatives in Australia, I have just got nearly 800 books donation from Australia, Brisbane for our school library recently and busy for sorting out of the books . I hope we will keep in tocuh .
