The GiggleIT Project is off and running thanks to so many hard working teacher librarians. This was made possible in part because of the NING in that it enabled a sharing of ideas and friendships to develop. Thanks karen for the NING.

Hi Pat, thanks for the gift. Good to have the virtual gold...helps one to think positively. I also have no idea how this works, but it's cute.

Dear Patricia,
Thank you so much for responding to my quiries and share your views on Missing books. The problem here in my school is the teachers they issue the library books for their class as class library. They keep it in the class for a month or less for refernce purpose. Many books goes missing during that period. It difficult to keep track of all the books by teachers. Anyhow thanks once again and aprreciated.

Hi Pat, I did spread the word in the fall to our members and provincial associations -- but I guess people were busy with beginning of year things. I'll try again thanks for reminding me. Yes, surely we can get one school on board and then build from there. The timing is not good now though - end of year! In the fall I am teaching a course about digital technoligies for the language arts so plan on introducing the giggle IT project. I will surely be able to get the ball rolling then! In the meantime, I'll remind our members about the project to consider for their next school year.
Take care Pat,
Marlene

This enormous kangaroo stands outside a shop in San Antonio, Texas, just across from the Alamo! My college (uni) mascot is the kangaroo, so I'll always take a roo photo.

Hi Pat,
Sorry if I did not tell you about my sight seeing boat trip in San Francisco! It was really fine with a view from the sea of the city, of the Golden Gate bridge and Alcatraz - thank you so much for being so generous and a pity for you not to be able to use that ticket!

I often think of your seminar about your work, I learnt a lot - hope it its going well?

Pat - this is the racing truck that my husband's company helps to sponsor, so I get to look at it, but not drive it!

I will look at our GiggleIT document collection and see if it covers everything. Back to updating syllabus for school librarianship graduate course that I am teaching online (starts Jan 20),
Katy
