Free Access to JSTOR Extended to Other Developing Countries

JSTOR recently announced via a Press Release dated November 17, 2008 of the extension of FREE access to developing countries beyond African continent. Free Resources In Library And Information Services Provision: Free & Open Source Software, Open Access And Book/Computer Donors

The Nigerian Library Association will run a one-week workshop on “Free Resources in Library and Information Services Provision: Free & Open Source Software, Open Access and Book/Computer Donors”. There will be demonstrations on Koha (a free library automation software), Open Office and many Open Access websites. By the way - your long program about this event on the NING is creating problems when we use the RSS from the NING to other sites - I will recommend you to make a short trailertext and then make a URL to the program at SLA.
