JSTOR recently announced via a Press Release dated November 17, 2008 of the extension of FREE access to developing countries beyond African continent. The Nigerian Library Association will run a one-week workshop on “Free Resources in Library and Information Services Provision: Free & Open Source Software, Open Access and Book/Computer Donors”. There will be demonstrations on Koha (a free library automation software), Open Office and many Open Access websites. Vendors of various LIS services provision will also have demonstration of their products.
