I sure will join the group Niels. it is such a privilege for me to work with many in Europe. I enjoyed meeting so many in Druskininkai last week. It was a great program, and I am inspired that people want to continue working together on various projects. I am happy to help in what every way I can.
Haven't you received the picture of you inside Trekai Castle? I will send you the picture once more! And ofcourse I will write you about the Dalton system within our schoolcurriculum and how it works out in our school library. I just started working one hour ago and it is very busy. Have you read the e-mails of some of the participants yet? It is so nice to discover that everybody seems to have the same feeling about last week: the hospitality and the very nice people. For me it was a beautifull experience which I will never forget!
All the information about our school is published on http://www.daltonvoorburg.nl. Every single subject like mathematics, biology, english, dutch and so on, has its own pages wich ca be filled with planners, links and so on.
It is called a content management system (cms) and its is built by an old-student of our school.
The information about the school library is published on The person who maintains / updates the information on these pages is me. Every teacher and collegue has his/her own loginname and password to enter the site. We use webmail.
The roosters are the schedules for the lessons. We have a person who is responsible for the scheduling of all the lessons and projects for every subject, during the scholastic year.
Pupils or collegues who want to receive the alterations of the planning on their mobilephone, can use the link which is mentioned in the text on our homepage. I think it is built by our earlier mentioned old-student.
Of course all the information on the website is written in Dutch. Perhaps you can use a translation program to translate things for you. Or if you have questions, please feel free to ask me. I will try to help where ever I can.
I will put some more recent pictures of our library on my page. Our library is quite recent: we opened the doors exactly one year ago. We moved from a different space in the schoolbuilding to a more central place in the building.
I have a question for you: what do you mean with 'mobilsystem'? If I know what you mean I can try to explain how we work overhere.
It's very nice to have a virtual meeting point for European schoollibrarians. I hope lots of collegues will join!
